Phonemic awareness and phonics are important components of learning to read. Children need to know how words can be broken into letters or letter combinations to show how words work in language. This session will focus on familiarizing teachers with some techniques used to analyze words and word parts when supporting students in recognizing words when reading continuous texts as well as writing stories. FRENCH P-2.
