October Conferences will be 100% virtual this year.

Every year, Professional Associations begin planning for their October Conference very early in the New Year. The decision to hold virtual conferences was made in the spring of 2021 based on COVID protocol information available at that time.


Conference Registration now closed
 Receipts for conferences will be distributed electronically from NSTU Central office starting the week following the conference.
They will be emailed to the address provided during registration.


Theme: Covid-19: How small businesses in NS navigated the storm

Schedule: Start time of 8:30 am end time 3:30 pm. Sessions held on the Google Meets platform.

Workshop descriptions

Our presenters will share their personal experiences of how their business were impacted by the global pandemic. Our day will be interactive. We'll start with a yoga session in the morning, be guided through a recipe for lunch and we'll end with a financial literacy workshop that teachers will be able to bring back to their classrooms. 

Registration Fee

Conference Fee:  $80.00
Substitutes / Retirees /  Pre-Service Teachers:  $50.00

As per NSTU Operational Procedure 13 E. IV.: receipts of payment and attendance will not be distributed until the conference has concluded.
